“We had a wonderful family skiing trip at Campgaw Mountain Ski Area! It’s a perfect spot for families and beginners well organized, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The slopes are manageable yet fun, making it a great place for kids and parents to enjoy skiing together. Everything felt safe, clean, and easy to navigate. We made great memories and would definitely recommend Campgaw Mountain to families looking for a fun and relaxed ski experience.”

“One of the two Ski Mountains in NJ. I was pleasantly surprised by this mountain. I obviously went to the night session which for me is a rather peaceful time after work as there were about 10 people including me on the slope which meant non stop skiing for the 2.5 hours in straight rain. Driving there is rather easy and once you get there, there are clear signs directing you where to go. The parking lot is a decent size. I would recommend parking as close to the ski slope as there is a tiny incline and walk towards the admissions/dining area. There is a fire pit inside to warm up on the coldest of days. There are 2 chairlifts which take you to the very top which breaks off into a tiny black into what I would call greens the rest of the way down. Not the biggest mountain by any mean but nevertheless you can get some fun in.”

“Amazing place for beginners and intermediate ski and awesome place for tubing. I have been visiting multiples times each season for the last 15+ yrs. Very kid friendly and excellent staff. Ski coaches are top notch and help in all ways. Took my kid since he was 3yrs and has enjoyed every time, loves to go back every time just like all of us! Restroom are clean and restaurant onsite provides snacks, food and hot beverages.”

“Campgaw was a great place to bring my family. My four children got private lessons and picked skiing up very fast to great instruction by Jake. Overall great experience and a cool spot to hit the slopes.”

“I had a wonderful first time snow tubing experience. I love the speed I gained and the spinning out at the end. I felt like it was fairly priced! For a holiday weekend I’m pretty impressed there wasn’t much wait time probably around 15 minutes per each go around but many people go in doubles which sped things up fairly quickly. I do wish the whole waiver situation, that took some time. Should at least be done online or at least set up stations with iPads but I didn’t mind the old-fashioned vibes this ski area had. It seems like most people left around 3pm so if you want to avoid the crowds best come for that time. Menu very limited. I would recommend bringing your own food unless you don’t mind eating cold burgers and chicken fingers. Vegans, all they got for you is french fries and jumbo pretzels + Mac n cheese bites, for vegetarians. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. While I was waiting around for snowboard rental, I really appreciated how one employee was very diligent and patient with a customer issue with his skis while also juggling another customer asking assistant to help take his snowboard boot off. Will definitely make another trip here.”

“Went skiing here on presidents Day long weekend! One of the best experiences, especially with beginner kids. We all enjoyed thoroughly. The staff were very helpful, supportive and encouraging! Less crowded than usual buffet mountains that we've been to, and a perfect place for a day trip. Even the intermediates had great fun going up the hill. This place offered good beginner lessons for kids and my kids didn't want to stop at 4 pm (half day skiing pass). Next time we will mostly get the full day pass.”
